2022 "New Doors" Mural Pitch
Opening the door to opportunity.
Within the year of 2022 I was given the possibility to both pitch and develop a mural to be made with help of students and faculty. Although not selected to be further developed I still found a great enjoyment from, research, conceptualization and development.
New Doors
New Doors is both the representation of new beginnings and the opening of new possibilities for the entering students. Intentially I insisted the use of this specific wall do to its placement within an area of the campus that had a great use of student housing.
The main color palette is to mirror the schools colors, as well as to provide a vibrant and eye catching display, contrary to that of the surrounding muted buildings.
The floral design was inspired by surrounding vegetation that is found common in South Jersey including that of: Asters, Geranium, Impatiens, Violets, and Marigold.
